North South Foundation (NorthSouth) is a volunteer driven nonprofit organization established in 1989 by Dr. Ratnam Chitturi.

Our Scholarship Programs
Our scholarship programs in India are designed to encourage excellence among the needy children who excel academically but need financial help to attend college. Each scholarship is $250 per student per year.
Our Educational Programs
Our educational programs in the United States involving contests, coaching and workshops are designed to encourage academic excellence among children of all ages.
Our Outreach Programs
Our outreach programs like the Young Changemakers initiative, and APNA enable youth to give back to the community.

For 32 years, NorthSouth Foundation has promoted excellence and empathy in education through its distribution of over 22,000 scholarships (and counting!) in India and its educational outreach within the US. NorthSouth conducts US regional contests at 90 chapters in 38 states, and as a result of nearly 3 decades of educational offerings, students’ success at national mainstream championships has defied all odds, with 7+ year winning streaks in multiple national competitions.
